In the North East corner of a field on the West side of A595
OPEN All surface features remain intact with some green paint remaining but the ventilation louvres have gone. The step is detached and the hatch is open. Internally twin bunks and a single bed, instrument table and cupboard remain in place but the shelf is detached. Other items include 1 ventilation louvre, siren box, GPO connection boxes, wiring, 13 amp socket for battery, BPI mount (detached) and the large splint. There is some graffiti and smoke & fire damage to the walls with burnt remains of two mattresses on the bed.
A brick aircraft post on brick stilts stands alongside. It is approximately 8' X 5' with a 5' X 5' open section with much of the walls missing, this leads into a 3' X 5' crew room with a corrugated metal roof. It has two wooden bench seats. There is a little wiring still in place. The wooden steps up to the open doorway into the observation room are lying in the grass.
Opened in 1965 and closed in 1968.
