In a small rectangular compound on hilltop, 150 yards from road east of A941.
All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the khaki paint. The hatch is locked internally but there are no padlocks so it can be opened with a Scottish ‘T’ bar key. Internally the post has been stripped even the toilet door and sump grille are missing. All that remains is the monitoring room door (detached); fuse box, BT junction box and wiring and the light.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
