Private property - now a care home. This was Flag Officer Clyde’s Comcentre in WWII - a photograph in “Signal!” shows C-in-C Western Approaches in a doorway there with what was perhaps is emblem - a picture of a pigeon being release from a hand. There was a hardened basement but I was unable to get into it because being used for storage. The building has been extended since WWII.
There are several pictures in IWM Collections. Some reports suggested that a sunken rose garden was roofed over to make an operations room but nothing found to confirm this.
